ARE YOU WORKING FOR SATAN?
MEMORY VERSE: "Those miracle-working demons conferred with all rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that coming judgement day of God Almighty" (Revelation 16:14),
Revelation 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Satan's major pre-occupation is to de-populate the kingdom of Go by turning the faithfuls from faith and the gospel (Acts 13:8).
Acts 13:8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
With the assistance of others, influenced by Satan, some of the agents of Satan are put in funds to erect 'make-believe cathedrals etc' where miracles are displayed with reckless abandon to lure the faithful into the fold. These agents of Satan, masquerading as men and women of God, deal in spiritism and magic. They and those 'converted' (the faithfuls) who had been deceived because of these seeming miracles are gradually led into Satan's bondage (Revelation 13:14).
Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Satan carefully chooses his workers by facilitating the employment of human beings that have personality and intelligence into sensitive position in Government and commerce through which he (Satan) can influence political and economic decisions. For example, Bar-Jesus (Elymas), a false prophet secured and employment as an attendant to Sergius Paulus, the proconsul in Paphos (Acts 13:6-7).
Acts 13:6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:
13:7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.
Because of his closeness to the Proconsul, the governance at the time would be pro-satanic-through the emergence of obnoxious laws, heartless legislation etc. That satan can hinder evangelism is again illustrated in Acts 19:19 ; Acts 26:31.
Acts 19:19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
Acts 26:31 And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
Simply because of fear of financial loss, satan led men to oppose the gospel so much that Paul was hindered. This is what goes on in our country today through various anti Christian enactments and policy pronouncements, where churches are not allowed in some parts of the country; where Christians are slaughtered for no other reason other than the fact that they are Christians.
Beloved, perhaps you do not know that satan, as predicted, has already entered into satanic schemes with political leaders and scientists. The scheme may end in untold adverse consequences to human race. In some parts of the world, homosexuality is legally permitted which allows a man to take a man as a legal wife! Nigerian has been invaded with these homosexuals and we pray they are not legally permitted to be part of our life here. It is now an open secret, they are now being ordained as priests by Anglican Church in the U.S.A. despite opposition by other Anglicans elsewhere, particularly in Nigeria. May God deliver us!
1. Give the traits of a person who may be working in the vineyard for Satan.
2. Anyone who for any reason initial, promotes, or supports a rebellion or division in the house of the Lord is in the employment of Satan. Discuss.
